No experience necessary as we will teach you everything you need to know. As an Apprentice at the beginning your career, you will quickly become part of our team and you will be developed and encouraged to learn all aspects of our business. Specialising in Customer Service & Creating the right atmosphere for people to enjoy premium fish and seafood, locally produced meat and game and a mouth-watering menu of vegetarian and vegan options we pride ourselves in being a destination venue for customers who want to experience excellent menus and service in the most beautiful of environments and we would love you to join us and become an integral part of our team.

As an Apprentice working behind the bar you will:

  • Actively learn and develop and prepare variety of drinks
  • Serve customers
  • Banking/Cashing up
  • Keep area clean and tidy
  • Be encouraged to become involved in events and presentation,
  • Identifying future drink trends and supporting the high service values of the business
  • Learn about the importance of effective drink costing and the management of ingredients to deliver fabulous drinks
  • Engage in all aspects of Health and Safety required and essential to the restaurant sector

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Completing a Customer Service Apprenticeship Level 2, consisting of:

  • Knowledge and Competence qualification in Customer Service at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required
  • End Point Assessment - final test and observation

The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams.

The vocational training and assessment are conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employers wishes.

Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit.

Training and assessment are conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner.

Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner.

About the employer

Henry’s opened this year in 2022. A seafood Bar and Grill with a social dining experience like no other. All of our ingredients are sourced locally and our chefs bring new dishes to the menu every week so people can enjoy the fresh seafood picked that week. You can dine at Henry's inside and out! A social atmosphere for eating and drinking for couples, small or large groups. Henry’s social dining experience allows you to share a range of dishes from the menu with friends and family.
