What will the apprentice be doing?

Warrenwood Manor Stud is a top class private up and coming competition venue with 26 horses, beautiful 5* facilities with a mixture of horses ranging from Grand Prix Dressage and Showjumpers to top quality all rounders.

Duties will include but not limited to;

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out and catching in
  • Exercising horses including riding
  • Grooming at top competitions in dressage and show jumping

    When the facilities are completed you will also be involved in the ensuring the smooth running of our events.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment
  • The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
  • The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship
  • The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship
