What will the apprentice be doing?

The Client Success team takes responsibility for the entire lifecycle of our clients; from the on-boarding process through in-contract proactive engagement, client service, account growth and client retention. As such, the team comprises Line 1 technical support, account managers, project managers and sales resources and is led by a member of the senior management team. The workload within this team is varied, challenging, and engaging.

The responsibilities of the Line 1 support function include proactive maintenance, responding to incoming enquiries, technical support, field engineering support and scheduling, on-boarding and training, to name a few.

  • Dealing with incoming customer queries via email and phone calls
  • Calling customers to follow up an engineer’s previous day
  • Working tickets via SimPRO and Zendesk
  • Commissioning Surecam installations with an on-site engineer
  • Knowledge to support customers to ensure they’re getting the most out of their solution

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will work towards the Customer Service Practitioner Standard level 2. There will be group training 2 days a month at WBTC and workplace training and reviews on a 1-1 basis. Functional skills maths and English, if required with training delivered either remotely or in person.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
