What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Welcoming customers and customer engagement
  • Signing in customers
  • Aiding Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • To be confident using IT systems
  • Central point for answering phone calls
  • Associated General administrative duties
  • Receiving and sorting daily mail
  • First point of contact for our company
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

At the end of your apprenticeship you will have a completed a level 3 apprenticeship in business admin.

You will do training in the workplace predominately, but will have an assesor to visit you and classroom space is available when necessary. This is usually every 1-2 weeks.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

You could be considered as a full time staff member once qualified.
