What will the apprentice be doing?
If you are a passionate and caring individual and have a commitment to grow a career within the care industry, we have a fantastic opportunity to work with our team to deliver a quality service for a diverse group of residents You will be working towards your Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship over 15 months. No experience necessary as full training will be provided and fully funded by Lovett Care.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their well being
- Ensure that all required standards are maintained
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of individuals you support
- Develop effective working relationships with all team members
- Assist in the support of new care team members to their job role
- Maintain accurate documentation on pcs at the point of care delivery
- Support residents to maintain a high standard of personal care, hygiene, and physical wellbeing
- Ensure resident’s aids and equipment are maintained e.g., glasses, wheelchairs, dentures
- Respond immediately to any concerns that may pose a risk to health, safety and wellbeing of residents, visitors, or your team
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification including functional Skills in maths and English if required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Permanent employment following the apprenticeship.
