What will the apprentice be doing?

Your day to day jobs will be:

  • Assisting stylists with their clients by shampooing and mixing colours
  • Customer service
  • Reception
  • Up-keep of the salon areas

As your skills develop you may be able to:

  • Blow-dry clients hair
  • Straighten and curl clients hair
  • Apply colour to clients hair
  • Cut clients hair 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The qualifications you will achieve are:

  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma Hair Professional 
  • End Point Assessment 
  • Functional Skills maths/English level 1/2 (if applicable)

 

Your training will take place in the work place with your employer/salon trainer for the duration of your apprenticeship

Intuitions will provide bespoke in salon training one day per fortnight on a one to one basis for the duration of your apprenticeship
