What will the apprentice be doing?
- To operate all machines and processes in accordance with accepted and documented procedures
- Using a wide range of tools and equipment and demonstrate the ability to maintain those tools in a safe and operational condition
- To ensure that work areas are maintained to comply with current practices
Trained to develop your skills & knowledge in the operation of inspection techniques & manufacturing process, the injection moulding process & the use of moulding machines, ancillary equipment, various tool types & raw material.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Advanced Level Apprenticeship Level 3 (A level).
Science Manufacturing Technician / Diploma in Polymer Processing.
Training will take place both at work and at college.
Additional training may be available for apprentices looking to specialise.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Development and growth in the Cornwall department at RWC.
