What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To operate all machines and processes in accordance with accepted and documented procedures
  • Using a wide range of tools and equipment and demonstrate the ability to maintain those tools in a safe and operational condition
  • To ensure that work areas are maintained to comply with current practices

Trained to develop your skills & knowledge in the operation of inspection techniques & manufacturing process, the injection moulding process & the use of moulding machines, ancillary equipment, various tool types & raw material.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Advanced Level Apprenticeship Level 3 (A level).

Science Manufacturing Technician / Diploma in Polymer Processing.

Training will take place both at work and at college.

Additional training may be available for apprentices looking to specialise.
