What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To assist the established cruise connoisseurs with everyday administration tasks e.g. making amendments, processing cancellations
  • To quality check bookings ensuring no-stone is left un-turned and everything is as it should be for the customer
  • Managing email inbox’s
  • Speaking with Cruise lines to collate information for customers
  • To assist the established cruise connoisseurs warming up sales leads
  • Calling company prospects which have been generated through our digital marketing campaigns
  • Loading and sending quotes to customers
  • Processing bookings
  • Assist customers with making dinner reservations and booking excursions

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be working towards the following qualification/standard:

Business Administrator - Level 3.

This includes:

  • Main Learning Objectives - Support a business administrator’s role in the workplace, principles of business administration, managing performance, communication in a business environment, project management, ICT for business
  • Functional Skills (if required)
  • EPA (End Point Assessment) - Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes a knowledge test, portfolio-based interview, and a project/improvement presentation. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO

This Apprenticeship is completed within the workplace. You will be assessed through written work and observation throughout your training. You will be given time by your employer to complete portfolio work, attend training, workplace shadowing and any other opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As a growing business we looking to develop all of our employee’s into full time employees, this will include management positions for the right candidates.
