What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Running bespoke envelopes machines to capacity
  • Achieving the required machine speeds whilst maintaining quality of product
  • Adjusting and setting the machines to reflect changes in envelope specifications
  • Maintaining all equipment to the required standard and reporting to the supervisor/manager any equipment requiring attention
  • Maintaining the machine and associated areas in a clean and tidy state at all times
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety Standards

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative standard at Gateshead College.
