What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Send written invitations to patients and coordinate appointments for their annual reviews (e.g. Diabetes, Asthma and blood tests etc.)
  • Prepare required paperwork /blood sample forms for upcoming blood tests.
  • Add patients onto our new Blood Pressure Monitoring platform.
  • Check all incoming patient communication inboxes (emails, practice website etc.) and action them accordingly.
  • To accurately process any relevant patient responses in a timely manner – for instance Blood Pressure or Asthma text responses.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will have monthly meetings with your Trainer via video call, during working hours. Your employer will also allow you time, during working hours, to work towards your apprenticeship.
