What will the apprentice be doing?
Daily duties will include:
- Supporting and learning from the current staff
- Booking in service jobs for the engineers
- Copying up and chasing quotations
- Adding invoices to QuickBooks
- Help chasing debt
- Sending out statements and worksheets to customers
- Order parts for quoted jobs and engineer stock
- Some social media duties
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Development of skills, knowledge and behaviours in accordance with the level 2 customer service practitioner apprenticeship standard.
Level 1 functional skills in English and maths progressing to level 2 (dependant on prior achievement).
20% off the job learning to include directed online study, assessor set assessments, in house training (as per employer direction) and observation/shadowing of experienced employees.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
We would like this to turn into a permanent role.
