What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Receiving and accurately processing customers' orders.
  • Follow company processes to ensure orders are completed efficiently, for example notifying the warehouse and transport of all customer requirements.
  • Dealing courteously and efficiently with potential and existing customer enquiries in terms of sample requests, pricing queries and other requests for information, thus providing a high standard of customer care.
  • Managing customer complaints.
  • Scheduling and arranging of stock transfers from France to the UK.
  • Liaise with key customers for order forecasts on a monthly basis to help with stock management.
  • Undertake other general duties as required, within the role to ensure the efficient running of the business.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The course to accompany this position is a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship provided by Swarm Training.

Training is remote with a focus on independent study, there will be a monthly video call with your tutor who will be contactable via email at all other times. Paid study will be undertaken during 20% of your working week and this can be either one day a week or block release, depending on what works best for you and the employer.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full-time permanent position following completion of apprenticeship with a clear path for career progression.
