What will the apprentice be doing?

As our business continues to grow rapidly, we’re looking for an Office Administrator to join our busy Administration Team. This opportunity will encompass the completion of a Business Administration Apprenticeship Level 3 with Rochdale Training, ensuring that the successful candidate can combine continual training and personal development alongside valuable first-hand experience of working in our busy office.

Job Purpose/Summary

The role holder will help to provide friendly, knowledgeable and efficient administrative support to our busy team of Financial Advisers ensuring that the correct processes are followed, clients are given precise, clear and unambiguous information and all records are kept well recorded and fully updated.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company where providing the very best customer service is at the heart of everything we do. This role would be ideally suited to an energetic, enthusiastic hardworking individual who has good mathematical skills, wants to understand more about Finance and envisages a career in the Financial Services Industry.

Job description

  • Ensuring that our Advisers are ready & equipped to meet with clients, with all appropriate paperwork correctly completed & recorded.
  • Data input, data extraction, photocopying, filing and scanning duties.
  • Maintaining filing systems in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Preparing client new business packs.
  • Obtaining client policy information and updating reports and databases.
  • Chasing third parties for outstanding information.
  • Dealing with incoming/outgoing post and emails on a daily basis.
  • Taking telephone messages to pass on to the relevant team member.
  • Meeting and greeting visitors as required.
  • Helping to manage a diary of client appointments.
