What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Apprenticeship duties – working towards Hair Professional Standard
  • Supporting and assisting stylists

  • Attending regular training sessions in salon and at JET Hairdressing Academy 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Attending regular training sessions in salon and at JET Hairdressing Academy to achieve Advanced and Creative Level 3 qualification and Functional Skills English and Maths at Level 2 if required.
  • Opportunities to attend extra practical seminars at JET in Basildon.

Things to consider

Standing for long periods of time -ability to multitask. At least one late night working in the salon. Work based learning apprenticeship. Would be advantageous to live within the local area to the salon.
