What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Accurately input, maintain and retrieve data as required
  • Gather, produce and record documents using relevant IT systems
  • Track all correspondence and ensure accurate collation of information
  • Communicating via email and all associated administrative tasks as requested
  • Speak with clients, contractors and engineers to support the business

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.

As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional certificates of recognition for these qualifications.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

The expected career progression after the apprenticeship is to then become a full time member of staff, with continued NVQ training. In fact, the Internal Sales Team Manager started off as an apprentice at 16 years of age with Tidyco.

Tidyco is a Parker Hannifin Hydraulics Technology Centre and in addition to a high quality system design and installation service can supply the complete range of Hydraulic products including: Hydraulic Filtration, Hydraulic Pumps, Valves, Cylinders etc. Parker Our Pneumatics division manufactures and distributes Pneumatic Components and Assemblies to a diverse range of industries as well as providing Pneumatic System Design and Consultancy services.
