What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Checking, inventorying and testing inbound stock, mainly Cisco equipment
  • Cleaning and refurbishing equipment
  • Assisting with warehouse duties inc. boxing, shipping, and booking in kit
  • General IT support
  • Admin support when necessary including eBay listings when required
  • You will eventually be exposed to more technology based aspects of the business and will be involved in testing other equipment inc drives, servers and storage equipment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

  • Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage
  • Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components
  • Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
  • Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards
  • Support the information systems needs for your business

We are a small business based in Harlow that buy and sell Cisco equipment. Our goal is to help companies reduce their capital spend on networking equipment. We do this by offering our industry leading refurbished Cisco equipment and turning any surplus IT equipment into working capital. We deal with all the major brands in networks, servers and storage. With a team of experienced and dedicated staff we aim to take the hassle out of buying and selling your IT equipment.
