What will the apprentice be doing?

Main roles and responsibilities include:
● Provide routine clerical/administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing,
completing routine forms, responding to routine correspondence.
● Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems.
● Undertake routine administrative procedures e.g. transport arrangements, catering
arrangements, interview arrangements.
● Maintain and collate pupil reports.
● Operate relevant equipment/computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, databases,
spreadsheets, Internet).
● Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others.
● Provide basic first aid.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator 

Ixion Holdings will provide the Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. Ixion Holdings will complete functional skills where necessary. Ixion Holdings will ensure Health & Safety, British Values and Equality & Diversity is embedded throughout the course. The employer will provide on the job guidance and training as well as fully supporting your apprenticeship.
