What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Selecting correct packing solutions for wide range of products
  • Booking outgoing shipments onto computerised system
  • Labelling of shipments with delivery note and dispatch paperwork
  • Check units arriving on incoming shipments and put away into correct stock locations
  • Liaise with management regarding any issues with incoming shipments
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties within the workplace
  • Upkeep of any equipment used to complete tasks
  • Work within processes set up in Build Centre to ensure all tasks are completed correctly and to a high standard
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will be obtaining one of the following qualifications:

  • EAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills) 603/3589/0
  • ETCAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills) 603/5151/2
  • Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills) 603/4344/8
  • OAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing (Knowledge and Skills) Ofqual number: 603/6783/0
