What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Deal with a range of enquiries from the public, colleagues and partner agencies
  • Learn about services your team provides and signpost enquiries to appropriate areas
  • Perform general administration duties such as data entry, photocopying etc
  • Work towards a formal qualification through achieving set targets

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administration.

Traininng is largley delivered in the workplace with your team and Abingdon and Witney College.

Attend Abingdon & Witney College (travel expenses will be covered and support with travel arrangements will be given, if required). Will include delivery days at the college.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of the L3 Business Administration Apprenticeship there could be the opportunity to apply for a permanent administration position within the council.
