What will the apprentice be doing?

Ahmarra Door Solutions are currently working in partnership with PETA to recruit and train a new Administrator Apprentice to join their young and fast-paced Sales & Production Team. This team take great pride in the high quality of their work and excellent reputation of their fire doors.

Why do an apprenticeship with Ahmarra Door Solutions?

The Administrator Apprentice – Sales Estimator will assist the Sales & Estimating Team to learn all aspects of the sales, estimating and manufacturing processes. You will learn to manage a range of tasks including:

  • Creating doorsets quotations and drawings using our in-house production system
  • Learning technical knowledge of fire door, ironmongery and construction components
  • Learning sales techniques: how to negotiate and create best opportunity to obtain order commitment
  • Supporting sales & estimating with general administration duties

The Apprentice will learn about all aspects of door manufacture from enquiry through to invoice and full technical training will be provided.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
