What will the apprentice be doing?

Apprentice required to work with experienced technicians to carry out the following duties:

  • Repairing mobile phones
  • Repairing tablets
  • Mobile phone LCD refurbishments
  • Quality control
  • Follow process guides
  • Interact with customers and fellow workers

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

This is a Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship will be delivered via virtual classroom sessions, including distance learning materials, as well as regular visits by your assessor, at the company site. 

'Off the Job Training' subjects include:

  • Health & Safety within a Manufacturing Environment
  • Communicating and Working effectively within a Manufacturing Environment
  • Working Relationships and Individual Rights & Responsibilities within a Manufacturing Environment
  • Application of Workplace Organisation and Work Related Problem Solving Techniques
  • EAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing 
  • ETCAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing 
  • Pearson BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing 
  • OAL Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing 
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position at the company upon successful completion of this apprenticeship.

In-house qualification L2 and L3 in mobile phone repairs.
