What will the apprentice be doing?

· Face to face interaction with patients on the front desk, dealing with a variety of queries

· Telephone communication with patients/nurses/GP’s dealing with queries and requests

· Responding to email correspondence

· Processing patient details onto the system

· Scheduling and re booking routine and urgent appointments for patients where required

· Recording patients’ identification where required

· Booking emergency ambulances as requested by GP’s /nurses

· Processing paperwork at the request of the Practice Manager

· Any other ad hoc duties

This is an ever-expanding role and will see the duties change and develop over time.
