What will the apprentice be doing?

We are looking to hire an Administrator to assist with the busy office and working alongside the office manager. The role will include ad hoc administrative duties, and you will work as part of a team to ensure the day to day running of the business runs smoothly.

Main Duties:

  • Providing office support to management team
  • Keeping organised with all filing
  • Assist with research where required
  • Answering office telephone
  • Assisting with CRM System
  • Managing stock levels within the warehouse, and engineers’ vans
  • Following purchasing process’ through from PO to invoice
  • Assisting with the processing or supplier invoices and statements
  • General data entry where required
  • Dealing with post and deliveries

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administration Level 3.
  • On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the apprenticeship standard.  
  • Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & apprenticeships tutor assessor, to determine competency and meet with awarding body standards.
