What will the apprentice be doing?

The apprentice's duties will include:

  • Setting up Servers and Workstations in the office and on site.
  • Configuring security peripherals (Controllers, Cameras, sensors, etc)
  • Prepare both commissioning and testing documentation
  • Bench-test systems before they leave the office
  • Shadow and support Technical Engineers at our site
  • Supporting Service Engineers in the field

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will study Level 3 Information Communications Technician  Apprenticeship Standard. The training will be at Harlow College, Harlow, Essex, as well as on the job. The program operates as a day-release, one day per week at Harlow College. 

This will include:

Personal Learning and Thinking Skills.

The program is based on end point assessment.
