What will the apprentice be doing?

Key Duties:

  • Manage property maintenance quotations received on JD Groups internal facilities management software ensuring they are received, approved and an order raised within appropriate timescales
  • Implement a set standard for information contained within quotations to ensure decisions can be made quickly and accurately
  • Attend & support information for cost approval meetings with key stakeholders
  • Provide advice to the Maintenance Helpdesk and co-ordinate the involvement of the Regional Surveyors and where necessary, to ensure all maintenance works are carried out within the necessary timescales whilst demonstrating value for money• Evaluate expenditure report and recommend improvements as necessary
  • Audit claims processed by external cost managers ensuring that they are accurate & appropriate in accordance with schedule of rates and contracts
  • Liaise with wide internal departments to provide and collate date, reports, documentation and any other required information
