What will the apprentice be doing?

Each day will be different as our products are bespoke requiring you to:

  • Solve different problems for different customers.
  • Using our 2D and 3D software, you will design electrical enclosures to customer requirements while complying with international design standards.
  • Liaise with customers and internal departments ensuring the accuracy of all design specifications and customer requirements.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will study at Sandwell College for you Engineering Technician Level 3, which will include the following:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)

After a further period of skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Technical Support
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) 

You will be required to attend Sandwell College on a day release basis.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be considered for a full-time position.
