What will the apprentice be doing?

You will receive training to enable you to carry out the following duties:
• Material preparation
• Assembly of products
• PVC Welding
• Cutting of materials/ measuring
• Basic fabrication
• Converting drawings into fabricated items
• Preparing cutting lists
• Material selection
• Fabrication for development work
• Training on fabrication tools
• Using saws and drills
• Line bending work
• Moulding
• Health and Safety
• General Housekeeping

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:
• Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standards
• EAL L2 Diploma in Manufacturing (knowledge and skills)
• English and Maths Functional Skills Level 1/ 2, if required

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Strong possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.
