What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assist with the production of technical design information including drawings and calculations
  • Site visits
  • Project administration
  • Develop an understanding of construction techniques so designs are buildable
  • Deliver solutions to design tasks as briefed by senior staff while working to agreed time constraints
  • Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of engineering design
  • Take initiative in CPD to increase knowledge base of the latest design standards and software and implement the learning into daily activities
