What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Building positive relationships with the children, families, colleagues, and internal/external professionals.
  • Ensuring that each child’s wellbeing is met and that they thrive in a safe environment including safeguarding.
  • Observing, monitoring and engaging in children's play activities linked to the EYFS.
  • Learning how to provide high quality childcare for our children
  • Provide a role model for children attending the nursery
  • Be a 'keyworker' for a group of children.
  • Undertake further training where appropriate and take part in staff appraisals.
