What will the apprentice be doing?

As the business administration apprentice you will carrying out our day to day administration for the business, this could be supporting across various departments such marketing, accounts , health and safety and quality.

Examples of an average days duties include:

  • Placing orders - creating and sending purchase orders.
  • Chasing late payments for invoices.
  • Keeping a log of our health and safety checklists/reports.
  • Organising and checking stock within the stationary.
  • Taking meeting minutes and sending to relevant parties.
  • Day to day tasks can vary depending on business need so this role is perfect for somebody who enjoys a variety within their work.

Due to our location we would recommend you be a driver to commute to this role as the bus stop is located crossing a busy road.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 business administration supported virtually by Babington with 121 coach and learning platform.

Functional skils level 2 in Maths and English if required 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As we are an SME there are great opportunities for career progression as the company grows. We love to promote internally and want to see our employees progress within their careers as a part of the Devtank team. For the right candidate we would want to keep them as a valuable member of the team, whether that be a permanent position or as a Level 4 apprentice, if they wished.
