What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Support and build good working relationships with suppliers
  • To review current QA practices
  • Maintain Supplier Performance of Suppliers
  • Monitor and maintain customer service levels within agreed KPIs and work with customers to improve/maintain quality of service
  • Support the ECP process
  • Ensure customer relationships are maintained to improve quality
  • Build relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Continuous improvements within Nedschroef Oxford
  • Any other tasks requested by Team Leader or Co-ordinator
  • Must be flexible on working from other locations when required by the business
  • Support and carry out defect analysis and produce reports of findings
  • Support with suppliers on quality issues
  • Support in reviewing PPAP (Production Parts approval Process) and PSW (Part Submission Warrant) for the customer
  • Be familiar with the CMS 
  • Liaise with internal departments on quality issues
  • PPAP can appear to be complicated and even overwhelming. Once it is understood, it becomes apparent that PPAP requirements represent the culmination and reporting of activities that any "good" supplier already does
  • PPAP is required when production of a new product or part is planned and when there is any significant change to a product or process

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English & Maths if required
