What will the apprentice be doing?

Receiving Purchase Invoices – when purchase invoices are received, they are checked against purchase orders and goods received records. If there are no discrepancies, they are then coded and posted to the ledger.
Scanning and filing purchase invoices – All purchase orders are scanned to a network drive once recorded on the system.
Supplier Payment Queries – receiving phone calls from suppliers querying payment of purchase invoices.
Statement reconciliations.
Sending out invoices.
Customer payment follow up – payments may be received without remittance advice, therefore will need chasing up
Customer Credit Control Activities – Calls are made to customers requesting payment of older invoices and ensuring they have received all invoices.
