What will the apprentice be doing?

Using the till system.

Serving of food and drinks to ensure good housekeeping within the Kitchen.

Maintaining stock levels.

Knowledge of required Health & Safety.

Ensure compliance with all aspects of Food Safety & Hygiene regulations.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College.

Functional Skills may be required if entry requirements not met.

About the employer

Truckhaven was established in 1990 and we cater to the needs of mainly HGV drivers, but we also welcome members of the public. We have 200 parking spaces so drivers can park up and stay overnight. We have a restaurant serving hot food 24 hours a day through the week, supported by full reception with a shop, bar area, conference facilities, and 26 en-suite bedrooms. We also have a forecourt with a 24 hour convenience shop, stocking a variety of items to cater for all needs.
