What will the apprentice be doing?

Co-ordinate the process along with other onboarding co-ordinators to ensure Pre-induction forms are processed timely and prospective learners are guided, checked and chased as appropriate through the entire onboarding process until their first date in learning when they are passed over to delivery.

Work closely with the compliance team to ensure learners are compliant at each stage of the process.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Keep the pipeline up to date with expected starts, liaising with colleagues to ensure all dates / allocations are completed and correct.
  • Liaise with relevant person to ensure coach is confirmed before start of onboarding.
  • Liaise with Account Managers and clients to agree suitable time frames for pre-induction and enrolment activities.
  • Liaise with clients to educate them around pre-induction process and its requirements.
  • Update Account Managers on any issues arising from pre-induction process.
  • Assist Account Managers in requesting cohort references when introducing a new cohort (DAS).
  • Design / develop / update onboarding process in Aptem as needed.
  • Send welcome emails and pre-enrolment e-paperwork, monitor the completed documents and request changes / chase late completions.
  • Respond to questions around pre-induction process from apprentices, clients and colleagues.
  • Produce appropriate schedules for each cohort.
  • Input ICAG responses in to funding calculator and send to Account Managers for client approval.
  • Ensure learners are correctly and compliantly inputted on the ILR
    Book and co-ordinate ICAG calls with apprentices and ICAG advisers / coaches.
  • Complete suitability checks on each apprentice to ensure ESFA audit compliance.
  • Have knowledge of and support other members of the Compliance & Data team in their roles as priorities change.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During this apprenticeship you will work towards:

  • Business Administration Level 3.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths (if required).
  • As well as company mandatory training such as health and safety. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon successful completion of Apprenticeship a permanent position will be offered.
