Digital Learning Apprentice CRIPPS LLP

This role will assist to improve our documentation within the Information System team in terms of structure, quality, and quantity to improve the knowledge of employees in using our client systems and applications. You will assist in building training plans so that our users always use our systems and applications in the most efficient way.

    Monday – Friday 09.00-17.15. There may be on occasion when you have to work until 6pm but you will be given plenty of notice should this happen.

What will the apprentice be doing?

·        Schedule and coordinate training sessions and maintain records of training activities.

·        Develop eLearning modules as required for projects and business as usual learning to supplement and/or replace IT training classes.

·        Design, manage, implement, and evaluate documentation standards across the team.

·        Ensure all documentation and process mappings are up to date.

·        Work with subject matter experts to create documents, assess training gaps and build training plans.

·        Maintain expert knowledge of the systems and applications used.

·        Develop teaching aids, such as user guides, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, etc.

·        Provide face to face and virtual classroom and one-on-one training, floor walking, labs, and personal consulting sessions.

·        Independently ensure learning courseware and end user documentation is regularly reviewed and updated for continued accuracy.

·        Ensure all learning function administrative processes are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.

·        Ensure preventative maintenance routines on training PC’s are followed to ensure images are appropriately prepared for training delivery.

·        Participate in a positive proactive working relationship between the IT Learning and the rest of the firm.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will work towards a Information Communication Technician Level: 3 apprenticeship standard, this will be a blended delivery a mixture of Microsoft Teams and face to face. All training will take place on site and within your working hours.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

If successfully completes the apprenticeship, will be offered a full time role within the company.
