A great new opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant/ Admin position within Kayson Solicitors, who specialise in all aspects of Family Law including Divorce, Domestic Violence and Abuse, Cohabitation Disputes and Child Proceedings. We are looking for a passionate individual to join us & become integral to the business. CILEx training optional.

Wage will be increased for the right candidate and upon progression. Passion for the industry and role is a must.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

What will the apprentice be doing?
The role of Legal Business Administration Apprentice will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
• Handling client caseloads with supervision.
• Drafting applications forms.
• Proofreading important documents.
• Attend meetings with clients with the Principal Solicitor.
• Administrative duties such as answering phone calls and correspondence.
• Organising diaries and scheduling meetings.
• Use of Telephone in a business/legal setting.
• Use of Word, Outlook and other applications.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Business Administrator.
This will include:
City & Guilds combined knowledge and competency based qualification
Functional skills Level 1 in English, maths and ICT
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
The program is based on end point assessment
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
If the apprentice is seeking to pursue a career in law, this is a great opportunity for the right candidate to expand their legal knowledge. Progression to Office Manager or Legal Exec. may be possible for the apprentice upon completion of this training.
