What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include;

  • Build up a portfolio of candidates and clients within your sector
  • Create business and candidate relationships via phone and email
  • Source new roles by contacting clients (Recruitment)
  • Help businesses find suitable candidates (Resourcing)
  • Building a core business strategy to target key clients and candidates (planning)
  • Develop your sales skills and recruitment knowledge
  • Advertising via social media platforms
  • Use LinkedIn
  • General administration and data entry
  • Assist your colleague and management where required


Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability. Charles Hunter Associates and Boom Training will provide you with ongoing support and guidance.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Recruitment Consultant Standard, which includes:

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Recruitment
  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
  • End Point Assessment (online)
  • Occasional group classes with other learners
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths & English if required
  • REC Level 3 Diploma (Coursework)
  • REC Technical Certificate and Recruitment Practice (Exam)
  • Recruitment Consultant Certificate from IfATE and City & Guilds

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Yes, if the apprentice performs at a good level throughout the apprenticeship, they will be offered a full time position.

£22,000 - £24,000 per annum starting salary

They will be included in our academy program and will have a clear progression target.
