What will the apprentice be doing?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Apprentice with Wearside Pneumatics based on Team Valley in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career within a successful and growing company, who will support the successful candidate through their apprenticeship. The purpose of the role will be to provide administrative support to the team.
Duties to include:
- Typing up quotations
- Answering the telephone
- Processing incoming and outgoing post
- Data inputting
- Use of a bespoke IT system
- Generating invoices and delivery notes
- Booking goods in and out of the system
- Liaise with customers regarding deliveries
- Occasionally serving customers on the trade counter
- Providing support to the warehouse – receiving goods in/locating them in current storage
This list of duties is not exhaustive and other tasks may be required.
Successful candidate should have strong IT skills.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training to be provided
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Training delivered by Access Training through a mixture of projects, training workshops and one to one support.
