What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will work towards the Level 2 Adult Care Worker diploma. Our blended approach means that our programmes are flexible and enable apprentices to experience a range of learning and support opportunities in a variety of formats such as online or at a local ACL centre. You will have a dedicated Tutor who you will meet (online or face to face) once a month and they will guide you through your Apprenticeship and prepare you for your End Point Assessment (EPA).
The EPA takes place at the end of the Apprenticeship and is a comprehensive holistic assessment of your skills, knowledge and behaviours learnt and demonstrated throughout.
You will also be required to undertake Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2 if you do not hold these qualifications (or equivalent) already.
