What will the apprentice be doing?

The ideal candidate will be expected to:
●      Have consistently high expectations

●      Support Children by following programmes devised by the school and modify planning to suit the needs of the child/children

●      Liaise with class teacher and Senco and keep detailed records of the child's progress towards targets

●      Use their own initiative to support the child in making the best possible progress

●      Be highly positive and supportive

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will achieve the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.

One to one teaching and mentoring.

20% off the job training will be allocated.

In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role.

About the employer

Maple Grove Primary School was formed by the amalgamation of Len Wastell Infant School and Pitsea Junior School in 2015. Following the first year of amalgamation, the Lion Academy Trust elected to sponsor the school to ensure that the children at Maple Grove receive the same opportunity for an outstanding primary education.
