Apprentice Parts Assistant BLAKEDALE LTD

You will be assisting the Workshop Stock Controller in the management of parts. You will be expected to attend college as per the requirements of your training provider and complete the apprenticeship to a high standard. You will be expected to ensure that the workshop and all associated areas are kept in a clean, tidy & safe state at all times.

What will the apprentice be doing?

The following aspects of the role will be applicable when you are suitably trained/developed in the meantime you will be learning the processes and getting involved.

  • Cataloguing and adding all current stock onto Syrinx management system
  • Assist with incoming parts required for equipment repairs, services, and supplies.
  • The booking of stock to all internal and external repair jobs. 
  • Monitor stock and supplies that need restocking. 
  • Prepare stock for deliveries and shipping. 
  • Ensure correct stock is loaded into correct delivery trucks. 
  • Track and ensure deliveries are received. 
  • Maintain records on Syrinx of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
