About the employer

RBF Cargocare was established in Felixstowe in 1982 as R Bugg (Forwarding) Ltd. We continue to operate from Felixstowe and over 35 years we have worked hard to develop our knowledge of import / export supply chain and customs clearance requirements. Our commitment to maintaining both cost and service advantages through our team’s knowledge has resulted in sector expertise and industry-leading levels of service for our clients. From our Freight team through customs clearance, haulage and accounts the retention of excellent staff has helped the business to maintain and develop a friendly and professional first-class team. Our knowledge combined with our processes has enabled the business to successfully operate in more specialised areas such as food, fruit, nuts and honey and we are proud members of the British Peanut Council and NDFTA. On-going investment in the business means we work closely with IT and port partners to continually develop more effective means of using IT and communications technology. This gives our clients an entirely robust operating platform, greater visibility of their shipments and bespoke reporting against specific criteria. We have a reputation within the industry for integrity and service excellence and this, coupled with an outstanding record in terms of legal and HMRC compliance, was recently acknowledged by our full accreditation as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO).
