What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Budgeting
  • Home care/House keeping
  • Personal Care
  • Shopping
  • Employment/Daytime Activities
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Assisting in leisure pursuits
  • Other living skills i.e. supporting people to access GP, Dentist, Optician etc
  • Holiday planning
  • To record accurate information in the Service/Residents daybook, care plan, appointment book, and any necessary recording formats
  • Assist with relevant Inspection visits including but not limited to CQC and Public Health

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will achieve a Level 3 Adult Care Worker qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
  • The training will be delivered by Learning Curve Group each month through a mix of virtual and face-to-face sessions.
  • No college release day required!
