What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Carry out HGV servicing and repair
  • Maintaining vehicles to mot standards and carrying out electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs.
  • Learning how to use the diagnostic computers.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will work towards a Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Heavy Vehicle) standard with Gateshead College.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time role on completion of apprenticeship including benefits: pension, MOT bonus scheme, diagnostic training courses and HGV driving qualification, company van – (once reached 21 years of age.)
