What will the apprentice be doing?
The British Commercial Vehicle Museum is a vibrant hub located in Leyland, part of the ever growing tourist economy. The job on offer is a varied and exciting role within a thriving museum.
- Duties to Include
Aiding the Day to day running of the museum - Customer service
- Administration of paperwork
- Updating membership information
- Responding to customer telephone, e-mail or in person requests
- General administrative duties
- Covering reception, greeting visitors, accepting deliveries
- Diary Management and booking visits and events
- Overseeing shop sales and monitoring shop stock
- Overseeing internal and external events

Customer Service Practitioner – Level 2
This Apprenticeship is completed within the workplace. You will be assessed through written work, verbal discussion and observation throughout your training. You will be given time by your employer to complete portfolio work, attend training, workplace shadowing and any other opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression to level 3 Customer Services.
