What will the apprentice be doing?

•             Assisting users with general IT issues
•             Setting up new PCs and hardware
•             Setting up new users and emails with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
•             Maintaining Networks (Data and Telephony)
•             Solving and Rectifying hardware issues
•             Speaking to users supporting them with Office software and queries

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team where you will gain an IT level 3 Apprenticeship qualification. 

All training will be done online via Baltics SMART classroom. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Progression opportunities onto level 4 Apprenticeship programme.

Things to consider

• Must have a full UK driving license as travel to sites will be required at times • Self-motivated with good communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to adapt to the environment depending on the tasks required • Friendly personality and confidence to speak to people at all levels of the business • Ability to work with confidential information and data within the business • Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, general hardware setup and Office Suites • Knowledge of Apple would be an advantage but not essential • Flexibility of working hours, occasional requirement for overnight stays away from home

About the employer

During your Apprenticeship, you will work closely with Reflex IT Team, all of which have over 20 years in IT so have some fantastic knowledge and skills to pass on. The main tasks you will complete will include network installation and management, hardware upgrades, setting up new users in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 and supporting Reflex users with any technical issues over their multi-national business either remotely or on-site.
