What will the apprentice be doing?
What will a normal day look like for a Business Administration Apprentice at Celestra:
You will spread your time across several departments within the business including, Support, Projects, HR & Central Administration
✩ Processing documentation incoming and outgoing
✩ Dealing with internal / external telephone enquiries
✩ Entry of accurate data into customers bespoke database
✩ Extracting of data from systems and prepare and present findings and analysis in reports.
✩ Use of bespoke systems and other internal systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel
✩ End of day / weekly reporting including fulfilling KPI’s.
✩ Work with functional colleagues to ensure the effective operation of the department.
✩ Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to ensure the successful operation of the group.
✩ Maintenance and championing of excellence in customer service always, with a commitment to getting things correctly done first time
✩ Ensuring that all incoming communications from stakeholders are handled quickly and efficiently, escalating any issues where necessary
✩ Effective logging and management of all jobs onto the service management system, ensuring that all relevant information is obtained and recorded
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Business Admin Level 3
Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.
Our Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard consists of the following:
Functional Skills in Literacy and Numeracy Level 2
End-Point Assessment (EPA) conducted by an external provider (Presentation or project, interview and knowledge test)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time position with the employer and progression for the right candidate when you have successfully completed the apprenticeship.
