What will the apprentice be doing?
To work alongside the IT Support Technicians, learning from and assisting them in their objective to support staff, students and other users of the school IT systems. To ensure that support requests are logged and dealt with in a timely manner.
To work with direction from the IT Support and Systems managers to maintain, repair, install and update school devices and systems.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship
Training will be one day per month in Nescot College, Epsom and onsite with the employer in Kingston.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time employment at the end of the apprenticeship.
