What will the apprentice be doing?

During your apprenticeship we will provide you with the opportunity to train in all aspects of the role.

  • Working at Heights.
  • Workplace Health & Safety.
  • Working with and preparation of different work surfaces.
  • Painting by means of variety of tools and techniques. wallpapering, safe use of decorating materials.
  • Tools & Equipment.
  • You will attend college on a day release.

Level 2 Painter & Decorator apprenticeship standard, which includes

Functional Skills in maths and English if required
Development of knowledge, skills, & behaviours required to complete the Painter & Decorator apprenticeship standard

Things to consider

Due to locations of work there will be travel involved in certain instances but travel will be provided. Hourly Wage: 16-24= £5.84 ph 25 + = £7.84 ph
