What will the apprentice be doing?

We have an exciting opportunity for a trainee apprentice to be trained up by our Director to be either an administrator or a quality assurance consultant (and potentially health and safety too).

We aim to train one lucky candidate to work alongside the Director daily. This will consist of going to a different site every day across the country, mostly a vehicle dealership or vehicle repair such as:

  • Volkswagen
  • Audi
  • Skoda
  • Mercedes
  • BMW

To assist the client to implement key brand standards and pass manufacturer audits.

The role will consist of working in all departments of a Volkswagen/Audi/Skoda car/commercial vehicle dealership alongside the Director to ensure the site have the correct requirements in place to pass a brand standards audit. We work to a document which has all requirements listed.

Areas cover, quality checks of vehicles, customer complaints, customer feedback, job cards, sales, parts and aftersales core processes, tooling, calibration of equipment, quality policies, meeting minutes, housekeeping, point of sale materials, staff training and much more.

You will be fully involved in the day to day relationship, managing the delivery of audit requirements against an audit document.

You will be required to maintain clear project plans detailing specific requirements, delivery timelines and success criteria.

This is an extremely important role in the business and we touch every area of the business. The objective is that once trained you will go out to site independently and train clients in audit requirements and complete relevant documents.

You will be expected to take notes daily, meet deadlines and support the Director in moving the business forward by satisfying customer needs.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Apprenticeship, to include:

  • Level 3 Diploma for Business Administrator
  • Level 2 Knowledge Component
  • Functional Skills (as required)
  • PLTS

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We are looking to engage with someone who can start to grasp the core ideas of the company and grow in knowledge and confidence with a view to fully embrace the opportunities that the apprenticeship provides.

Once the apprenticeship has been completed we would hope to be able to offer the correct candidate a permanent position to continue to grow with the company and reach whatever stage of employment they choose.

  • Plenty of room to expand/diversify in this role and progress.
  • Full onsite training will be provided by the Director.
  • KPIs will be set to encourage your fast progression and financial renumeration.
  • Full training and support will be given.
  • There will be a three - five-year plan created to enable the successful candidate to become a Senior Consultant in future and train new staff.
